  • run social media campaigns-maintain IG, FB and Twitter feeds

This is a non-support raised position. Up to 5 hours a week. Certain times of the year may require more hours.  Work can be done from home.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Church Planter/Pastor is to oversee the health and growth of a church and work alongside other missionaries and ministers in taking the message of the risen Son to the land of the rising sun and beyond.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Leadership/Pastoral Duties

  • Disciples and leads small groups/Individuals
  • Provides pastoral care & guidance when needed (hospital visits, pastoral counseling, etc.)
  • Develops and implements the Nevertheless Missions vision strategy for Japan. 

Ministry Oversight

Recruit, lead and shepherd the lost flock in Japan

  • Greet
  • Explain
  • Baptize
  • Oversee Outreach ministry
  • Understand No Place Left Strategy

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

NTLM Church Planter/Evangelist cultivates a church planting ecosystem and church planting movement. Specifically, this involves overseeing the implementation of evangelism strategies, vision, and strategic plans. The Church Planting Director reports directly to the CEO of NTLM. The NTLM Board of Directors Personnel and Policy team will interview and recommend a missionary candidate to the Nevertheless Missions Board of Directors for this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Vision and Strategic Plan: Oversee the implementation of Nevertheless Missions 3.0, 5-year Vision Plan within their area of location. 
  • Recruiting: Assist Nevertheless Missions in developing the next generation of church planters and site pastors, including church planting internships and apprenticeships. 
  • Funding: Understanding that this position is fully supported by the funds raised by the Church Planter.   
  • Training: Facilitate monthly training for national and international believers and provide individual on-the-job coaching.
  • Placing: Assess areas in neighborhoods as to launch teams where they best fit. Assist in placement problem solving and working with the Nevertheless Missions Board and CEO to see where people are best needed.
